I have a fairly typical computing science background and have been working in industry as a senior production/site reliability engineer (there are really too many names for this kind of role). Until very recently most of my focus has been heavily around distributed systems, automation, and monitoring.
In the past year I’ve been moving further and further towards security topics. The more I learn the more I get sucked in. I’m extremely interested in reverse engineering (though admittedly I’m very much a beginner in that), pen-testing (taking courses through offsec as I write this), and vulnerability discovery.
Most of my day-to-day work uses python but from time to time I play with other languages as circumstances require.
I’m here to learn as much as I can and hopefully share some of what I know with others (teaching others is one of the best ways to learn in depth).
